[QUOTE="thomas91169, post: 16251253, member: 40530"] Came here to see what the svtp pros were saying about this car. I will say, I am greatly impressed by this new chassis/direction. I have always enjoyed the Corvette platform, however, I have never seen myself as a Corvette owner per-se. Never have seen a release that made me go "oh, I need this in my life" Until now. I was meh on it seeing partial unveilings, camo cars, spy shots, etc. Plus I thought the MR layout was going to run side by side with the FR platform (C7) as a more of a special edition car like the Ford GT is; I didn't think they were going to dump the FR for MR completely. But those crazy sons of bitches actually did it. Then you see the entire car, gleaming in "**** your Ferrari" red, and it just gave me the ultimate American freedom boner. 495hp in a car like that, I think will be the perfect starting point. Imagine one of these with a nice H/C combo to keep it NA or a pair of nagasaki noisy bois. And I know alot of people are annoyed at the interior and the center trim button row, but I ****ing dig it for whatever reason. Then again, I am 35 now, maybe its just midlife crisis kicking in.
