    You’re being obstinate; the C8 is impressive on multiple fronts and as a bleed blue Ford guy, it’s not shameful to shake the hand of the enemy and say good job.

    I’ve said the 20 gt500 was not revolutionary.
    I’ve said the Ford GT was not revolutionary.
    I’m sorry 500hp at 3600lbs is not a wow factor for me. Not when 15 years ago the c6z hit 505hp at 3100lbs.
    It is a great base as I’ve said a n/a c8 gs that competes with the c7z will be awesome and the c8z should compete with those 2 times as much as it cost.

    Guarantee the base C8 is not going to have the same maintenance regime like many other high end mid-engine supercars. But the performance numbers are going to be close(ish). Add to that, Chevy is opening up a part of the automotive industry to those who would likely never get into the segment and it is revolutionary. There is literally no reason to compare the C6Z06 to the base/Stingray C8, other than to do what you’re doing, which is to try and detract from the C8.

    Again, as a die hard Ford fan, I hope the C8 unplugs Ford from its head filled ass and they give us something good because of.

    And the Viper did it in '03 who cares? Strictly looking at hp and weight is pretty obtuse.

    Lol. It was built to win le man and won it among numerous other races. People are waiting in line for one. Ya, over rated.

    What GM donkey dick are you talking about? A company trying to stay afloat making junk cars that noone buys.

    The internet freaked out too when the G8 and "SS" came because EVERYONE online said they would buy a 4 door rwd v8 car and every other car was gay, yet none of them sold, at all.

    The corvette was a shit car until the C7. This C8 is cool and it will be a performer, but that doesn't mean much for the company as a whole. Everyone is also hung up on a base price of 60k. With that price, some corners were probably cut places. People that can afford exotics will not even look at this car, even if it is faster.

    Pull the blue dick out your mouth. 60k mid engine is unbelievable and the Corvettes have been American icons since their inception. Who the **** cares what exotic buyers are looking at? Its an American made mid engine for less than a GT500

    At least GM plans to still make cars... Unlike Ford.


    Because FCA busted out the Whale Dick and went dry and hard on GM with the Charger and Hellcat line up. GM also had to deal with its own internal competition, the CTS-V.

    Besides, everyone called the SS a flop from the start, a bland early 2000's styled Chevy with an LS2 and automatic only for $50k? Hard Pass.

    How well did the Taurus "Show" sell?

    Tell that to all the C5s and C6s destroying the street, track and strip. Oh, do you mean interior quality? I guess that means the Mustang is still a shit car then...


    Not sure why you keep thinking "corners got cut". There is nothing inherently more expensive about making a car MR. It's just a massive packaging disaster.

    As for "real exotic buyers", **** them. **** all 8,000 of them. This car is going to steal from the Mustang, Challenger, Camaro, M-series, GTR, AMG, S-series, R8, TT, Z4, Zupra5, and most importantly..... The Boxster and Cayman.

    I hope GM sells 80k the first year.

    The New Corvette looks Great! I would rather have the 2020 Shelby, But a Ferrari 488 would just put it over the Top..

    The LT engine is a proven platform and the only unknown is the DCT trans. Hopefully they dont screw that up like Ford did with the Focus DCT.

    You got me. We have seen mid engine cars before. We have seen mid engine cars starting in the $50k's before. We have seen 500hp cars before. We have seen 3600lb cars before. We have seen drive by wire before. We have seen DCT for over 10 years now. We have seen v8 power before. But we have have never seen a 500hp 3600lb v8 mid engine drive by wire vehicle DCT before that starts at less than $60k. Man revolutionary!

    Brian Shaw's 6'-8" @ 450 lbs fit in Nick Best's mini lol! And there is a video of Eddie Hall crawling out of a McLaren - he barely fit in that.

    You're bigger than I thought. I always assumed you were a manlet like Sly Stallone - ;)

    I had no problem driving a 2003 Vette when I weighed 250 lbs @ 6'-2" and my wife's little Cruze when I weighed 310 lbs. The Cruze felt more cramped with my head almost touching the ceiling unless I leaned the seat back quite a bit. The Corvette was a convertible and the top was down when I drove it so maybe that is why it did not seem too cramped.
