Do you get rid of the DI if you decide upgrade to a double/triple return setup? Or does if have to stay?

Ive not heard of anyone deleting the DI system. Actually there are some high volume HP pumps coming to market soon along with injectors.

Midnight performances has a 2018 twin turbo car in the 8s still running the DI system.

Hell no! Don’t get rid of that DI!
SO much potential with that. Like separating the fuel systems and running E98 in the DI. From my research the stock computer can completely separate the fueling, running 0-100% of each system independently.

That’s correct. Tuners are getting real good with blending the load on each bank.

More good stuff coming in the future with this system.

Lol, I was just asking, I thought someone told me that what people were doing when they started to step up to the triple pumps as that paired with some big injectors can get the job done without the DI. Looking at a few slightly used 18’s now

The 18 is a game changer! Go grab a left over and get 0% for 72...

Pretty great deal!

When I bought my 14 I got a base, this time around I want some bling!! I think these dealers are crazy on the new prices, I see some loaded GT’s for 50k!!! I found a nice 18 auto grey Premium with the digital dash with 10k miles for 34k if I can get it for 31 I’m in!!! If not I’ll wait, I’m in Chicago and this is no mustang weather right now

Dumped the factory cat back and installed a custom 3” dual turbo-back exhaust.

I bought the mufflers from amazon for $33 each. They are Magnaflow copies (maybe they’re rebranded MF’s?) and appear to be made very well.

The rest of it is a combo of 3” stainless mandrel bends from Summit.

I got it all measured, cut up, welded and installed.

Pain in the ass to make 2 sides line up perfectly and look somewhat symmetrical!

Glad it’s done though and will free up a couple psi boost and probably 40+ more horsepower.

Car is getting faster but still learning to drive it. 60 foot and 1/8 times are still very bad.

New best ET of 10.3 and new best mph of 144. Still on 8psi and still running full street trim/18" wheels and with a drag radial and stock suspension, axles, and drive shaft. 0 weight reduction. Actually, i had 25 lbs worth of tools in the trunk on these passes ... doh!

I think i got the 2 step figured out finally. I had it on a momentary switch and my brain couldn't figure out how to release that and the brake at the same time LOL.

Today I ran it to the brake pedal and it now works awesome. With any luck i will try it out this Wednesday night at the strip.

Holy shit!

That’s fuggin’ nutz!

At what point do you need new half shafts? Driveshaft?

Congrats - that’s amazing.

Sorry for not knowing...but is that on 93 or E85 or race gas?
