**** the x pipe, run open downpipes lol. Can't wait to see this thing done, I love the fact of how you're going the 'cheap' route on this too. I'm another guy who was satisfied with his 'china' On3 kit on my blue car.

That kit worked well once sorted. This one will be similar.

I wish I had the mechanical know how to do this type of install. Great job sir

You've got no excuse now brotha. Once that shop is done the possibilities will literally be endless.

Made some headway on the cold side today. It is so damn tight in there holy crap.

Tons of new scrapes and bruises arms after today.

Gonna look killer when done tho!

I test fit the front bumper cover afterwards expecting the worst but nope— fit back on like a glove.

I did open down pipe for awhile but got lit up at a stop light and inspected (CA). Knew the guy so luckily I got sent home.

Kinda sounds like ass

Blows exhaust into the car.

Just got annoyed with it after awhile. Boost climbed almost as fast as you could put the pedal down though!

We don't have inspection nor do the cops really seem to bother cars unless you're doing something stupid, but that goes without saying. I kind of agree that it sounds like ass but the weight savings and quicker spool is a good trade off. I kept the full exhaust on my old car and it was nice but wayyyyyyy too quiet. With the ON3 kit, o/r x, and Bassani's it was quieter than when the car was stock besides the axle backs... No joke. Definitely caught people off guard when cruising around though lol, especially when I had the 20's on instead of the 15's.

Well... little progress to report today... not much.

Fabbed lines for trans cooler since I had to relocate them from pass side to dr side.

They came out great. They are -8AN black braided.

Giggidy!

Looks good but watch pressure and temp on those trans lines.
I understand it's not an older trans with a trans brake, but when I've had those in turbo cars, things get hot fast.
Progress looks good man!

Interesting.

I’ll keep an eye on them.

Oddly, the cooler itself is a pretty weak feeling and flimsy piece — it’s thin aluminum.

I’d actually bet these steel braided lines would hold more pressure than the cooler.

I guess time will tell.

Little progress today.. not much.

Got around to pulling the oil pressure sender so I can install turbo oil feeds.

As luck would have it, Ford changed the thread pitch, thread size, and sensor on the gen 3 coyote (2018+).

Couldn’t find any info online about the size at all so took the sensor to hardware store and matched up a nut.

Size is m12 x 1.5. Ordered a m12 1.5 x m12 x 1.5 x 1/8 NPT adapter from summit so I can run oil feeds.

Also found a good spot to mount the oil scavenge pump and fabricated a quick bracket out of some steel I had laying around the shop. Not my best work but it’ll do! I’ll have it powder coated to match the intercooler piping in the next week or two.

Some pics.
