Hello everyone! This is the first post for me in the GT350 section. We own a 2018 GT350R we picked up back in March. The car has a Whipple 2.9L Gen 4 Supercharger. I just added a set of DW1200cc injectors to the car to get it ready to run E85. We took a trip down to Palm Beach Dyno to get the car tuned.

I am very happy with the results:

    3.625 Pulley 93 Octane: 801RWHP 531RWT
    3.625 Pulley E85: 882RWHP 587RWT
    3.375 Pulley E85: 921RWHP 624RWT

    2018 GT350R:
    Whipple 2.9L Gen 4 132mm TB
    3.625 and 3.375 Pulley Tested
    Kooks Longtubes
    Borla Atak Catback
    Mantic Twin Disk Clutch
    Billet OPG and CG
    Twin BAP
    IAT Kit

Awesome numbers. How much Boost on that 3.625 pulley size?

Are you the guy who went to Ohio, drove the car back to surprise her Wife with it? Reason I ask is same color R model and in Fla. as the Video was posted about it.

Is that Don Gift’s previous 2018 R (out of Toledo OH area)? Met him and his wife in their R at the Tail of the Dragon last year. Cool guy!

Now THAT is what a GT350's numbers are supposed to look like! Should have come with a blower form the factory. Now it has the best of all worlds.

I’m surprised by the low torque numbers in comparison to the HP levels. I know they’re usually lower, but dam that’s a big difference. Or seems it to me anyways. Disclaimer: I don’t know a lot about those cars and this is just a friendly observation and not a bash.
Great numbers though and beautiful car!

No kidding huh? So lower torque is a result of a flat plane crank? Now I’m gonna have to do some reading to learn about that. Sounds interesting. Thanks!

Holy crap guys, we have enough unfounded rumors about the FPC and voodoo motor already. Those torque numbers are perfectly in line with every other OHC/VCT motor Ford has produced with a late model whipple and a bunch of boost on E.

The Voodoo has much better flowing heads than the 5.0 which is why it's able to suck and blow (hp) and take advantage of increased flow (while still yielding similar torque numbers to it's lesser cousin). Those hp/torque splits are right in line with every other whipple/coyote car.

I don’t have a lot of knowledge about the coyote. I’m a pushrod Foxbody guy and am just getting into the terminators.
The fact it only made about 10 more lb ft of torque than my ported Eaton , was what stood out to me. I just figured that OP’s car would’ve made more. Apparently I was wrong. Either way it’s an awesome car and numbers aren’t what matters.

I'm familiar with 200 other dyno sheets/vids that look very similar. It's amazing how far we've come where in 2020 people scoff at 630 ft-lbs of torque.

The latest yote, which has 8 cubes less, same compression and direct injection makes 420 lb-ft of torque in N/A form, nearly 10 lb-ft less than the voodoo.

The modular, and the 302 pushrod before it both would have had similar hp/torque profiles if allowed to rev out an additional 1500-2000 rpm and the breathing characteristics.

The voodoo has more torque than the 2003 cobra but still people say it has no torque. No, it doesn't have LOW END torque but has plenty of grunt to blow the tires off in the first 4 gears IF you put it in the proper rpm.

it's a function of breathing and rpm. They could make more torque, at the cost of air flow and top end power. The bore/stroke also gets a vote in the equation.

    Impressive numbers regardless of Tq.

I bet this car is plain nasty once the RPMs are up and shifting close to 8K RPM!!
