2016 5.0 A6 3.55 to 3.15 swap

Hey guys, i have looked almost everywhere online etc.. for a 3.15 gear for the 2015+ mustangs with 0 luck.

i have spoke to my dealer if i can get the car with a 3.15 but they won't be able to do that for me so the 3.55 is the only option, does anyone know where i can find it and what else do i have to change?

You should try to look for one from someone who replaced his 3.15.

It was the reverse for me a couple of weeks ago. All i could find is 3:15' on the lot till i found my 3:55 geared Gt/Cs 45 miles away!

Why do you not want the 3.55 rear end? I came out of a 3.73 2013 6-speed GT and I first drove a 2016 GT with 3.15 and felt that it was way to sluggish compared to my 2013. So I opted for the 3.55 2016 GT. It still doesn't match how violently my 2013 accelerated but it's close. Do you plan on going FI? That's the only thing I can think of where 3.15 gear MIGHT be better but that may even be a stretch.

I have the 3.55 equipped A6 Mustang. I have a TVS Supercharger and think it is the perfect rear for the street and track.. Good suspension does a lot for the S550 platform..
