2015 Taurus SHO question

In my search for cars, i'm back to the SHO...

On their site, it says :
•3.5L EcoBoost® V6
•365 hp, 350 lb.-ft. of torque*
*Requires 93-octane premium fuel.


Is that a typo? do they mean 91 like my Cobra?

You'll be fine with 91. They just mean "premium" and most places premium = 93oct.

my book for my 2010 says 87 or higher and e10 is ok but no e85. I run 91 for best performance and mpg. I would guess if that is really a 13 left and new they would go into low to mid 30's to sell it

There is no SHO in San Diego to drive...so I stopped and looked at an S4.

Very annoying problem i have!

Premium is only required for the highest HP/TQ ratings.

You can use regular unleaded also with reduced performance.

e10 is all the gas around here. cant get gas without 10% ethanol.

Only 91 is ethanol free around here, I guess it will be soon when our government has its way
