While I've read some internet articles that made this claim, I'm wondering if its true. True the Boss 302 does come with sinter forged connecting rods, but doesn't the GT come with that type of rod as well?

They very well could be adding in Boss 302 rods, but if the GT's have the same type of rod they could be keeping them the same.

Stockier rods would be a huge selling point for me.
