[QUOTE="2014GT500, post: 16585731, member: 155144"] Just curious if anyone may have anymore input on the Goodyear F1 Supercar 3 tires? I have personally been a fan of the Nitto tires since the late 1990's with the first 555r and have since used the brand on Foxbody, 4 gen F bodies, and all my daily drives end up getting Nittos. For me personally I have sold my other vehicles and down to the GT500 ordered new and a daily F150. We are in the process of a purchase of a Superformance MK3 Cobra. So when considering tires for the GT500 it's a little different with a car capable of 180 MPH at 04:30 A.M. heading to a cars and coffee. The priorities fall in line of dependable/street ability, all around grip and handling on the street, and noise ride comfort, mileage isn't even on the radar. We would prefer the keep the GT500 from becoming what I turned all of my other cars into and that's something the wife and kid can get into and makeup not melt, hair not becoming a ball of static, and actually carry a conversation without a helmet headset. That is what the plan is for the Cobra. I just don't believe Nitto has all of these attributes and the Goodyear is a little more affordable than the Michelin if it is actually competitive with the SC2. Thanks much for an information!
