Just change the emblem like I did.

Do the Rad black, like the gt500. They make a black radiator paint. Doesn't hurt coolant temps either. Looks so much better. I didn't even take my bumper off. I just stuck my hand in there and sprayed it, lol. That may sound ghetto, but it's fine. Doesn't really need much.

I always thought it looked better silver personally. But it doesn't matter, I sold the car last year and bought a real 2014 GT500 lol.

yeah I had a dumb moment lol. I do have another question though, whats the part numbers for the hardware to attatch the 4 piece splitter to the bumper? Im assuming I dont need anymore than that. I can reuse all the oem stuff on the car already for the rest im guessing.

I'll be getting my gt500 bumper back from paint in a couple days and I still haven't seen anything on the forums about the exact hardware you need to install it. Could you pm me or post on here what bolts and nuts you had to buy?

I got it to fit great, had to trim it up and drill four holes but it looks oem and is strong. So for anybody wondering you can make it work.

I'm gonna do this on my 2013 (same color too), and I like to see the details on where the stock GT undertray was modified if you could point out those modifications in the pic. I think the undertray is significantly expensive and it would be nice to cut that extra expense out if possible.

To Anyone that has done this conversion. By any chance did you happen to take any pic of the GT500 bumper on while still having the 11-12 hood on the car? Yes I know it doesn't close/latch I just want to see by how much it's off.

Thanks

Today I also modified my stock 2013 GT absorber foam to work with the GT500 fascia. For anybody wondering here are pics of both the foam and undertray modified to fit the GT500 bumper. Saves about $300! I am sending my fascia for paint tomorrow, cant wait to get it done!

What areas did you modify? Can you point them out? Does the foam bumper piece fit solid against the inner part of the front bumper cover for support?
