Yes, car is on stock stall. I have no doubt that 3C transformed your car, hope she improves next week!

We experienced our first set back tonight. We were test fitting the lower manifold after grinding the block to make sure it cleared. I wanted to inspect the port work on the manifold a little closer so I flipped it over. I noticed two very small holes in the runners, its right where the manifold bolts bottom out. If I had to guess during porting to much material was removed and the bolt made the hole when it was installed previously.

The dilemma we have is "whats the best way to fix this"? When this happens on Boss manifold porting I have seen people use epoxy to seal it up, the other option is run some RTV on the bolt threads for the manifold and hope it seals it up. Final option would be to weld it up and grind the weld down to blend it in. I think this makes the most sense but I need to figure out what we are going to do. If anyone has any tips post them up, I know only a few people are reading this post but you all are knowledgeable so help a brotha out!. Here are a coupe of pics of the runners in question.

Moving to some good news the trans is back on the engine. This took a little bit of time but its all bolted up and we started putting the headers back on. I will swing by there tomorrow and wrap up the headers, install plugs, and put the engine back on the K member. We think we can have it bolted back in the car tomorrow but well see.

We contacted Brett about the intake manifold and he said its fine. I even reached out to a couple of folks on here and one person even confirmed this isnt uncommon. It was a huge relief hearing this, thanks James @biminiLX !

    Harness attached to the engine:

Rear of motor showing how the harness is ran. Like I said earlier, way easier to do this with engine out of car.

Everything is attached and body is ready to drop on.

All settled into her new home, still quite a bit of work to do.

She's ALIVE!! We buttoned everything up tonight and the car seems to be running great. We ran it one full heat cycle until the fans kicked on.

The original VMP flow mod has the fittings for the intercooler exiting at 90 degrees. The original fittings exited at 45 degrees facing the reservoir. My S hose that connects the intercooler reservoir to the manifold is to short now. I am going to make a trip to home depot and see if we can solve this. I am also upgrading my intercooler pump so we need to make a custom mount for it. Its a Jabsco and is significantly larger but we will mount it in the same area the Bosch pump went.

I also changed out my non adjustable BMR LCAs to adjustable ones (poly / spherical). My friend had a GT500 finned diff cover laying around so that will be next along with installing the CHE axle brace. I had to order a new piece from CHE to work with the new diff cover.

Tomorrow is my daughters birthday so I wont be messing with the car but the rest of the parts should be here Monday. If all goes well she will be back on the road next week. I only took one picture today, were in a rhythm finalizing everything and forgot....... like usual. Ill get some finalized pics soon.

We have been waiting on a new cover plate for the CHE brace to arrive and a set of the BMR relocation brackets for the stock sway bar. Everything arrived today and we are 99.9% done. Rear suspension is all put back together including the CHE axle brace which is a total PITA to install. Had to modify the hardware and grind on my LCA relocation brackets.

We were able to use the bracket that came with the original intercooler pump but we had to made another bracket that stabilized it better, its solid as a rock now! Also, we went to Lowes and picked up a 3/4 inch stainless steel splicer to extend the upper intercooler tank hose, everything fits perfectly.

Shes all ready for the road, tomorrow we will get it up to temp check the trans fluid since we lost a touch when we disconnected cooler lines. Once we do one final look over I hope to get it on the road tomorrow and get the rings seated.

Pump mounted in stock location and still using the same hoses I had before. We did have to add a new connector as the Bosch connector would not work.

Shot of the rear end all done, this was taken before the sway bar was installed but everything fits and clears.

Newer lower control arms, poly/sperhical BMR. Had to adjust them a tiny bit from stock length but I have the rear end centered now so I am happy about that. With the non adjustable arms the drivers side wheel sat a tiny bit more forward vs. the passenger side.

Engine bay 100% complete..... well almost. I need to reoil my filter. The oil PMAS uses does not last long at all. Ill pick up a K&N kit to clean / oil.
