So, Christmas eve Im standing outside my house as my family members are starting to show up to celebrate christmas, none of which even know I just bought a 2013 GT/CS. My sister-in-law pulls up in her 2011 Jag XF and she is always saying how fast her car is and how she can push a button to put it in "super turbo mode" which is actually just sport mode.

She sees my car in the garage and I ask her if she wants to race after dinner and she says hell yea.

So we try to get one of my brothers to drive the jag for her but she aint goin for it, so we head out to I-10. We explain to her that im gonna honk three times and you go on the third honk. We're on I -10 about to race from 60mph and I only honk once and she's gone and doesnt stop.lol then we line up again and honk it off and this time it was a clean start, I immediately jump out and put about 10+ cars on her, then we exit the freeway and U-turn and go from 40mph, I signal to her that im giving her the move. she doesnt even get out a fender on me and now im putting 20 cars on her. I new I would beat her but the jag does have a 5.0L so I didnt think it would be by so much. And shes driving an automatic so I dont think the jag was in need of the driver mod.

I was lucky enough to test drive a XF-R for about 30-40 mins when i was looking for a daily... dont kno about a standard XF but the one I drove was great! LOTS of room and power...very low rev range but hit hard...and the interior was outstanding. Great car... oh and good kill OP

Other than it being funny to you your statement is spot on. I'm just not interested in anything else beside mustangs and I only read up on Chevy motors because I like to know what the rival has going on, not to say that everyone else has nothing going on but I personally just don't care lol. Its nice to know that you care about what I do and do not care about in the automotive world. :D

I mean I did join because I love mustangs and this is if I remember correctly a FORD site.

Nice kill, OP... Way to put your sister-in-law in her place...:lol1: You would have enjoyed racing against the R-version much more though, as it would have been much closer and more than likely would have went in its favor. I'll tell you one thing though, those Jaguar XF's are beautiful cars!

thats good to know, Im sure I would beat the SC 470 hp, I would like to run the XFR. I think it would be a good race, in a few months however my car will have full exhuast, CAI and tune so Id be willing to bet money I would beat the XFR

I think you'd run away from the XFR if you had a full exhaust/tune and CAI.

my sis has a 2012 XF. they are ok and fast for a luxury car, but at 385hp they have no chance.

a bolt on coyote usually makes 465-485hp. it should be an easy win for GT.

do they really make that much or are you talkin flywheel 465-485. either way with the bolt ons I wouldnt think twice about runnin a XFR as I dont see the jag runnin mid to high 11's.
