2011 Shelby GT350

What would be a better buy, the Shelby gt500 and the Shelby gt350 cost around the same $63,000. The shelby GT350 has 512-550 HP. and the GT500 has around there.

The gt500 is not 63,000 its more like 47,000 and has more potential. get the gt500. JMHO.

I figured that, but i mean DAMN!! a gt350, have you seen them. i can understand how money wise your paying nearly 20k less for around the same performance, but you see alot of 500's here in dallas, driving a 350 would turn heads.

the gt350 doesnt have forged internals so a pully swap isnt a very good idea.

go with the gt500!

Depends on what you're looking for really. It sure looks different but cost more than the GT500. The 500 has more mod potential and a better foundation but damn it costs more. Just get what you like.

GT 350 looks like a ASS...Carroll Shelby is a whore that will put his namesake and signature on anything for a few bucks. The GT500 is a superior car by every right and cheaper to boot.

GT500. Looks 1000x better. Plus the motor isn't at its limit like the the GT350 is. You'd have to pay even more to forge the internals so you could up the HP at all.

I feel like a salmon swimming up river. LOL! Because I would buy the GT-350. It's a better long-term collectible, but more important I absolutely love the design, inside and out. I am not a fan in any shape or form of Carroll Shelby, but I do love this car. If it wasn't so darn expensive this would be my next muscle car. Can't afford it, though.

I like the GT350 Hood and rear, I prefer the Roush stage 3 front.

I don't think it's hideous, I do think it is uber expensive.

I still wish they would've stuck closer to the original GT350, by doing a slight HP bump using bolt-ons, lots of suspension work, and trying to shave weight.

Both are pretty expensive but it doesnt make sense to have the 350 cost more than the 500!
Funny how they're both a Shelby yet the 500, made by Ford is cheaper than the 350 made by Shelby.:nonono:
