Yea i put the oil heater on mine, "Boss 302 oil cooler." Yea it heated up the water in return. Okay so the install went okay. Radiator is bigger and I had a few issues. First the factory cold air intake duct that connects to my Ford Racing cold air intake had to be modified a tad. The new position puts it further over to the driver side and further in towards the motor. I took a die grinder to the driver side of the factory oval duct . I cut some slits and a chunk out of the factory air duct to fit the brake lines through it. It still shields on the driver side from the heat of the engine and the radiator. It was either that or reroute all the brake lines and the box that connects all the brake lines to or not use the small tube that helps bring in cool air from outside....I decided on making it work. Second the Cobra Jet intake would not hook up to the throttle body because the coolant expansion tank sits closer to the motor. The tank had to be taken off and then put intake tube back on. This allows the coolant tank to bolt back down. Snug fit. Other then that I had to fill the radiator with a funnel then put the upper radiator hose on. took about 2 gallons. I tried to keep as much coolant in the motor as I could by elevating the upper and lower hoses. I let the engine get to operating temperature, drove it to my parking spot and turned it off. Ill test drive it to work tomorrow.
