Well...shit. Looks like Im adding a KB Competition Shelby plug n play BAP and injectors when I decide to go E85. I just read up on it over at Kenne Bell and Im convinced.

What Im still not clear on is the stock fuel systems ability to handle E85 from a corrosion standpoint. Can it be done safely for long term or will it require periodic replacement of parts e85 comes into contact with?

My set up and info is in my signature. Both cars tuned by VMP. The 2011 was a VMP Gen 1, 2.3 TVS with 2.4, Vmp BAP, ID1000's, VMP 72mm Throttle body, JLT 123mm intake, and Off road H pipe. On E85 His car did 703 RWHP and somewhere around 698 RWTQ if I remember right and that was on 24 degrees timing.

I have ran E85 for 3 years now and have not had any issues. I recently switched from my stock pumps to the DW300M pumps and looking into the tank everything looked perfect like new. Not sure if that says a whole lot but we can only get 91 in our area and from the trouble I have had on our local "91" I doubt that its truly 91. Since the switch to E85 My car runs so much stronger and no trouble since.

yes for stock thats fine BAP with stock pumps and bigger injectors will be sufficient for e85
we are running a 3.4 with BAP and 100's and running lean(2011 shelby)
also of note the 11-12 shelby has a single circuit relay for the pumps we kept blowing the fuse with the BAP
07-10 + 13-14 Shelby have a dual circuit..
don't know why for the 11-12 Ford went with the single setup

Depends on what your overall end goal is. I knew I wanted to go with a higher hp build so I jumped straight to Fore return triple fuel hat system with 465lph pumps. Worked very well even when I was at 800hp.

Ive got an 11 and previously ran VMPs unit, but under the advice of a few here Ill be looking at KBs competition 21v booster with Bosch EV14 95# injectors. The biggest power adder I plan to run on this car might be the TVS 2650, but likely the 2.3 Trinity TVS.

Do you think that the blown fuses were a result of your BAP at full power or just the 11-12 setup in general?

Isn't that why KB supplies a blade to use in the fuse position of 11-12s?

VMP adds a larger fuse as well-40 amp if I remember right. I have an 07 with dual circuits as explained above and you swap in two larger fuses. I have never had an issue but I know on the first initial data log my cousin popped his larger fuse in his 2011. We got a new fuse and there was a tuning change and it was never a problem after that.

What you are asking for currently doesn't exist. You have to buy a pump and make it fit yourself or buy the hat upgrade which is just someone else doing that work for you. thing is if you can pull the pump assembly out yourself you likely can do the minimal wiring and fitment to make it work. The Stryker pump or a new fuel hat is likely the best options.
Wrong the DW300M fits in 11 and 12s like stock

OK update...finally this is possible spoke with Deatshwerks today and yes they know that late 2011-12 Shelby's have different pumps design, the good news is they are currently working on a drop in kit which will be available soon, they have had several customers send there fuel hats from 2011-12 Shelby owners to them, They have done the install with the modification it required!!
they stated that the DW300M will support over 900 rwhp on E 85 with no issues!
looks like my fuel hat is off to them for the upgrade!!

Also like to add that Sulvain at BPS just install DW300M into a 2012 Shelby.
DW300M fit in my 11 hat perfect

An upgraded fuse, 40a, or a brass jumper will solve that problem.

on my 2012 gt500 would it be better to run 56lb injectors , the dw300m's or leave the stock fuel pumps and use the VMP boost a pump?

Depends on what your trying to do? For E85 on a budget, you would want ID1000's at least, maybe even ID1300's. Plus, the DW300M pumps as they are approved for E85 usage. E85 is corrosive, in the sense it attracts water, and water will rust out a traditional fuel system.

You need twice the flow, and need to make sure your pumps/injectors are compatible with E85 at the minimum.

If your staying pump gas, you can probably get by with 56lb injectors, and a boost a pump.
