I attempted this mod with the intake off and its just impossible. No way to reach the freeze plugs comfortably without pushing them into the block. I'll hang on to it and be doing this mod whenever I eventually change out the clutch!
We have had some customers that have had no issues and others that struggled a little. To make it easy however your idea of installing it when doing the clutch is fool proof and much less of a headache! Best of luck and thank you for your business!
