SOLD Mufflers.

These are basically brand new. Bought them with my 2010 to 2012 exhaust conversion parts. Installed for 30 minutes to test but I went with the used stock 2012 mufflers I was given.

Mufflers are the 50 state legal Ford Racing Touring mufflers - made by Borla for Ford from what I read. Designed to fit the GT500 2011-12 model years using stock hanger system. Inlet tubing is 2.75" with the stock balled or cupped ends. The tips appear to be highly mirrored SS - not polished like the stockers. They stick out less than 1 inch longer than the stock (about 1 inch past the plastic valance on my 2010). The tips are 4.5" in diameter - slighly larger than the stockers.

Sound - these are not loud mufflers (Touring so they have to meet CA sound limits for 50 state approval) but slightly louder than stock. Example on a scale of 1 to 5 if stock is a 1 then I would give these a 1.5 max rating.

They give a much lower deeper throatier throttle tone at idle compared to stock. It is like this from idle to 2k rpm. At 2K rpm they go very quiet - at least as quiet as my stock mufflers. I hear the SC whine and cannot really hear the exhaust when I WOT.

It has a much lower end deep rumble / tone than the stockers - makes it sound like I have a big block 429SCJ. People in cars next to me can easily hear and feel that low throaty tone - not my cup of tea at 65 years old now. The stock mufflers are slightly quieter at idle and less bassey up to 2k BUT then the stockers are louder and noisier from 2k to 6k compared to these Ford Racing mufflers. Its a trade off as to which way to go.

Price $450 You pay shipping which could be to expensive!
However here is a proposition. I live in NY - near Kingston NY but travel to Frederick MD a lot lately due to family issues. If you are within 100 miles of that pathway I will meet you or I will travel 100 miles (or half the distance from where you are) from either end location.

Are you able to box and ship?
Do these drone inside the car?

I looked in my shed - have the original shipping box still. These mufflers are old stock - built July 2013 on box label).

These weight 13 lbs each so I calculated on UPS and FEDEX that if they shipped from Frederick MA instead of NY the shipping would be like $75-$80 by ground or 4 day. NOT CHEAP.

I didn't take the car on the highway - only on local roads for q quick spin. In any gear 1-6th you can hear the deep throaty mufflers up to 2k - I had my windows down. When I drove at 60 in 6th gear I would be at low rpm (less than 1500) and I can hear the deep sound when I tended to accelerate from a cruise...if I drove it steady at 60 they were like my 2010 stockers...if I shifted down to 5th and rpms went over 2k... there is suddenly almost no sound even when accelerating - much less than even my stockers made. I have factory 2014 cats and Lethal Perf over the axle pipes - Lethal told me their pipes would make my exhaust louder than the factory stock pipes.

Shipping is not cheap and I would not ship from NY but MD instead since it is definitely cheaper. I will be in MD probably Monday.

In the meantime you can think it over.

Mufflers - 2.75" inlet, 4.5" tips, balled - 3 support rods
