I purchased this car in February of 2018, with 94K miles, and it has been an incredibly solid and reliable car since day 1—the car currently has 122,318 miles. I am the fourth owner, all before me have been auto enthusiasts as well. I daily drove the car for a year before purchasing another vehicle to daily so I could save the miles and modify. I hardly drive it anymore (though I still very much enjoy every chance I get), and I’m selling this along with my daily to consolidate so I only have one vehicle to maintain and daydream about modifying.

Exterior Quality: 8.5 out of 10 (paint is in great shape, aside from rock chips that could be expected in the front bumper and hood–nothing extreme)

Interior Quality: 9.7 out of 10 Zero tears, all buttons work, and everything functions just as it should.

Performance/mechanical Quality: 12 out of 10 All modifications have built a solid foundation for forced induction if that’s a want for anyone, there’s not really anything south of that that is left to be done.

Before the work done at 114,6XX miles, the car dynoed 369rwhp. I’ve seen close to identical builds to this car as it sits now put down between 410-430whp, but I’ve not had it on a dyno. The computer was shipped to the tuner to be retuned during the cam swap and DOD delete. I have a ZL1 torque converter that will go along with the car.

Mods:
Performance
Done at 114,6XX miles:
BTR LS3 Stage 2 cam kit
BTR Gen IV DOD/AFM delete kit (solid lifters)
BTR Beehive Valve Springs (heads were taken to a specialty shop to be disassembled, cleaned and reassemble with new springs, guides, and caps)
Chevrolet Performance HD timing chain and dampener
BTR 1 bolt to 3 bolt conversion kit (w/BTR cam bolts)
Chevrolet performance High Volume oil pump
New water pump
Chevrolet Performance 04+ LX head bolt kit
All new gaskets from bottom to top

Previous Performance Mods:
Dynatech long tube headers
X-pipe with high flow cats
Magnaflow catback
Roto-fab cold air intake
Aftermarket underdrive pulley
MSD Wires
3.45 gears in Camaro rear differential
Lovells lowering springs
Pedders struts/shocks
Updated front control arms
Pedders bushings front and rear
BMR sway bars
SS brake lines front and rear
Slotted Rotors
Brand new Duralast alternator (May 2022)
Headliner redone (Spring of 2020)
Spare tire and toolkit in trunk

Aesthetic Mods
GXP front bumper
GXP rear diffuser
Painted roof, grill, hood inserts, spoiler
VMR 710 wheels (19x8.5, 19x9.5) – need new tires, shown on the car in the third post down.
KMC District 18s with Michelin IceX tires – winter setup, currently on the car
HIDs in headlights and fog lights
Hydro dipped carbon fiber interior trim pieces
Debadged
Weather Tech floor mats
2 JL Audio 10” subs in a custom box + amp and bass knob
Viper Alarm with remote start – needs new remote

Things that could be improved:
  • Passenger side airbag sensor needs serviced/replaced
  • Rock chips could be touched up in the front bumper, grill inserts, and hood (nothing excessive, just what would be normally expected from 120K miles)
  • Rear window tint is bubbling, needs replaced

I'm asking $20,000 for the car. I will hate to see the car go but look forward to someone else enjoying the drive. Thanks for your interest and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

....and the last of them. The last two pictures show the car with the summer wheel setup (VMR 19's, staggered). Thanks again for your interest!

Best of luck with a sale. You don't see many G8 GTs out there. Yours is a good looking specimen.

Nice...my Dad was a Chevy man.
I owe to him to get a LS someday.... ;-)

The G8 and the Chevy SS are great cars.
I don't understand why Chevy didn't stick with them.

That was short-lived, the buyers financing fell through so we're back on the market!

@shurur I've always been a Mustang guy, this was my first LS platform car, and it's been great—so easy to mod and make power. There's something special about dropping the kids off at daycare in a cam-swapped family car.haha

This was my car years ago. Lol

I drove the hell out of it for about 1-2 years as a daily. Was probably one of my favorite cars although it was only very lightly modified.

Glad to see it continued to be taken care of.

WOW!!! The car world is a small one! Man, this thing was cared for by every owner it had, and it showed. I've not seen another one in-person that's in as good of shape as this one.

This car headed down the road to Tennessee last week to another appreciative owner.

SOLD!
