2007 gt500 and E85

Hi!

I have been told that my 2007 shelby gt500 can drive
E85 with the proper tune and no mechanical changes.

But this picture makes me a little nervous, it is a 2008 gt500 that has been converted to be able to run on Propane gas, wich is almost as good as E85 but 20% cheaper.

It says no E85. Does anybody know why?

Most likely because the fuel characteristics aren't the same. You can't just throw in E85 and go. It's takes 30% more fuel with E85, so it needs to be re-tuned to operate properly!
