Still a gorgeous exotic today! The soft launch through the first gear nicked the 0-60 and quarter mile times, but that's still good by 2005 standards. That was a fun video to watch.

Same 0-60 times as a stock 03 Cobra 2 years prior. LMAO

But beats it by a tenth and 1 MPH in the 1/4 mile. LOL

I've always liked the Gallardo. Even though it's not really all that fast, if I found a gated manual at a good price, I'd be willing to look into getting one.

I'll never forget my first encounter with one on the street.
Someone called me and told me they saw it driving around, and I jumped in my Z/28 to go find it. Didn't take long. Pulled right up to him from about a 40 roll, looked over and he was game. I punched it and just drove away from him....ok, maybe he missed a gear?
He caught up, we slowed to about 30, punched it...where'd he go?
Now I turned the nitrous off. Ran it again and it was at least a race, but my 12.90 Camaro was pulling him solidly.
By now a buddy in a bolt on fox-body had joined the fun and got him at a red light. From a dig, the 13.20 running fox wasted him by 2-3 cars by the 1/8 mile.

From then on, we made it a point to openly taunt any Lambo we could find :)

That's why they make billet blocks and turbo kits.

Cars did not age well however. Terrible interiors, exterior now resembles a kit car.

Aventador really kinda crushed it in style and build quality.
