2005 Corvette - A Miracle Detailing - CQuartz Professional

[Merlinii]

The client just purchased this Corvette C6 with just over 10k on the ODO.
It was covered in swirls marks!!! It looked like it was attacked by Spiderman.

It had VERY hard paint! I tried many different combinations of products and pads.
Due to the nature of the beast, it went inch by inch slow and took a lot of time.
Normal pads/products did not even make a dent. Warning: Do not try this at home.

The winning combo...
Correction: Rupes 21 - M101/M105 combined on LC Purple Thin Foamed Wool Pads
Polishing: Rupes 15 - Rupes 5" Yellow Polishing Foam Pads with Meguiars M210

Dlux on Trim / Fly-By-Forte on glass / Paint coated with CQuartz Professional
Convertible Top / RaggTopp Fabric Convertible Top Cleaner & Aerosol Protectant

I have my truck protected with Cquartz Finest, but it's only a 2 year deal and those 2 years are up. I have used the RELOAD on it before the winter, but it needs another professional detail and coating. Possibly this summer, I will have it done again. The only issue is finding the closest Cquartz Finest or Cquartz detailer. The closest one now is well over an hour away. lol

This! You guys (plural) do great detailing work. Love me a black paint job that's been properly and highly detailed. Merlin, I imagine the owner of that Vette was smiling ear to ear when he picked it up.

Actually, 2 years is the warranty, I've seen it last many years past that.
The only reason I can think of for polishing and recoating is inflicted swirl marks from washing.
Have you checked the Find A CQuartz Professional Installer near you for someone closer?

Although a 2005 C6 it looked "better than showroom new!".
Yes, he was, It truly looked beautiful, and glossy.

There's not many in the New England area. At least, not in MA that I know of.
