In the may issue of Automobile magazine on page 42 there is an artists rendering of the 2004 mustang. If you have seen the new version of gone in 60 seconds, it's the same look with a modern twist. !00% retro like the new thunderbird. It also says the GT will have a 5.0L variant of the 4.6L v8. In my opinion it's f'n awesome! It's making me reconsider my order for the Mach 1.
Whatta yo guys think?
Thanks, J-mart:beer:

That looks nothing like the picture from automobile. No one knows for sure what it will look like till the preproduction release from ford to all the mags.
Thanks, J-mart:beer:

Hey Hillie,

If they look like that I'll take one for sure. What a great picture.
Did they give any specs. on drivetrains?

None yet, but I'm sure it will be some variation of the 4.6 SOHC....

It looks great, but I have a question... where do they go after that? The same question I have with the new Thunderbird, everyone will get used to the styling eventually, and it will be time for a change. But then what?

Any info at all about Mach 1?

Besides all the basics everybody knows. Why doesn't Ford release info on a car that's supposed to be out in 6 months? I'm afraid Ford will not be ready in to get this out when they say. The cobra is delayed now and i'm sure the Mach will be the same. What's everybody's opinion? The Bullitt came out with alot of hype and it had lower than advertised horsepower. Not by much but some. I am looking foreward to Getting the Mach so i hope everything works out. Ford seems to screw things up sometimes!!

Sometimes .... FORD is as good as any huge corp, I guess.

As for a release date on the new[b/] Mustang ... wait another year and change. The new chassis won't be out until 04-05
