I have a 2004 Mach 1 that I daily, I have a buddy that has a 98 cobra that he wrecked and is now parting out and offered the supercharger setup to me for fairly cheap. I was wondering if the 98 cobra supercharger will work on my Mach 1 and what all do I need off the 98 to make it work on my 04?

may help to know exactly which kit and intercooler or not but 2 main things I can think of would be

1) blower mounting bracket is likely different (his 3 bolt tensioner vs your single bolt tensioner). Probably not a big deal but might wanna check price/availability of the single bolt bracket then sell the 3 bolt. Also note you'll likely have to cut off the little extra piece that sticks up above the pulley on the tensioner, can be done with a dremel

2) connection at the throttle body due to the change in angle, can probably be solved with a silicone coupler.

If it is a Vortech or Procharger, you would either need a new bracket and the associated hardware kit or the Cobra’s timing cover. Also, possibly some piping near the TB since there are slight differences.

If it is the 96-98 Kenne Bell Cobra kit, I’d pass and forget it.
