2004 DSG mach 1 (True Forged Victory, 03-04 Cobra bumper) Middle Georgia area
Up for sale is my 2004 DSG Mach 1 with approximately 95k miles on it. This will continue to change since I actually love to drive this car. I bought the car about 8 months ago with around 90k miles on her. When I bought it, the only thing the car had was a set of chrome FR500’s and a set of Flowmasters. The motor is still complete stock all the way down to the air filter. I love the car and to be honest, I’m not exactly sure if I want to sell it. But, like all things I possess, for the right price, it’s sold. I am a Ford parts guy at a dealership in middle Georgia so the car has had Motorcraft oil (5w20) and filter since I’ve owned it. I have a TON of paperwork on the car including the complete warranty history/key code information/ build sheet/RPO breakdown/Dealer brochure and a complete print out of every part on the car (I printed the entire Ford catalog for it). I’ve got two sets of keys & remotes for it too.
Mod list:
2003-2004 Cobra front bumper with bezels, fogs, and pigtails (1500 miles)
MGW short throw shifter with orange handle (2k miles) with a CobraBob double thick gasket
2003-2004 OE Cobra clutch kit (pilot bearing, throw out bearing, pressure plate, etc…) (2k miles on it)
Steeda firewall adjuster & quadrant (2k miles)
OE clutch cable (2k miles)
Synchromesh fluid installed at clutch swap
18” Two piece polished True Forged Victory wheels 18x9 on front 18x10.5 on the back
Brand new 295 Nitto Invo’s out back
Windows are tinted
Leather 5 speed shift knob
Ford Rubber floor mats
I’ve got a CAI kit for it as well as an Xcal2 tuner for it. I’ve never got around to putting them on the car yet.
The bad: The car since it was lowered with cut springs on the front has begun cupping the inside of my brand new tires. It has a vibration in the wheel and pulls because of this. (This can all be taken care of it agreed to in the deal.) The car was aligned after I cut the springs but it pulls to the right now.
The center console has a slight crack in it because I was trying to get the shifter loose from the transmission and pried on it too hard and cracked it. I have another console, just yet to put it in.
I currently have the spoiler off the car because I love the look without it. Right now I have the holes plugged with body hardware that is painted to match and sealed so they do not leak. The spoiler takes literally two minutes to install/uninstall.
I also currently have the original front bumper for the car and it does NOT have holes drilled in the front for the tag bracket.
Now, I can sell the car one of three ways. 1). Complete with everything that I have listed for 16k. 2). Without the TF wheels (you bring your own wheels/tires) for 14k. 3). Without the TF’s and cobra bumper for 13.5k Looking at the car, you would never guess the mileage on it. I take pride in my cars and keep them nearly spotless. People claim I am actually OCD about my cars. Being as I work at a car dealership, I can help get you financed if you wish to do so. But, please understand you will be paying taxes if that is the case since I will have to run it through the dealership.
I have countless numbers of pictures and I can take as many more as you would like. Videos as well! She was LMR ride of the week in February (I believe it was).
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at.
(I've got pictures throughout ownership so please excuse some of the older pictures with the OE bumper on it.)
