2814V I had Troyers custom dyno tune my F150 with the X3 and 3.5" AF1 unit and with that and now the added Roush exhaust (didn't re-tune) I am getting 2-4 more MPG's than you what tune are you running on?

Sorry man, just saw this. I am in california, thats why I got the airaid CAI. It has a C.A.R.B. sticker so it is legal in Cali. I have the 87 and 91 performance tunes also 87 tow. There are a few reasons why You get better milage.

1. I live in commie Cali, so can only get 91.
2. I live in commie Cali, and our gas can have up to 10% ethanol in it. Troyer has to adjust tune for that.
3. I live in commie Cali and have a heavy right foot.
4. I live in commie Cali and my truck has always been thirsty, just like some cars are horse power freaks from the factory, some can be gas hogs too. I got one.

But not complaining it is a great truck and oh so pretty. But I am complaining about living in commie Cali, it is a beautiful state with lots to do but the politics suck.

I have an '05 supercab with 6" procomp lift with 20" rims and 35s...have JLT intake and flowmaster catback.... i like hearing the exhaust too so i tend to put the foot down more often...still i average over 11 city with 87...tried 93 and it jumped to 12-13mpg...highway with CC on 75 i saw just over 17 mpg and this was also with having to drop to a lower gear for hills and having an extra 1300 lbs being hauled... normally on the highway i will see over 18mpg without any extra weight going 75...

I've got an 05 FX4 SuperCrew loaded. Every option except the rear video system. I have a few aftermarket options including the Edge which is run in economy unless I'm towing, then I put it in towing mode. I never do any custom programming. I have a Pace Edwards retractable bed cover that I love. It is kinda heavy but it keeps my stuff covered and out of the weather. It is supposed to help with aero.
I have 55K miles on it. My truck weighs ~5400 lbs without driver. I usually keep 46-50 psi in the tires.

50% of those miles are towing my racecar. 20% are highway no load. 30% are local/around town/sitting at lights.
My average over 55K miles is 13.5. I get 12.5 towing 7000 lbs at 75 mph. If my wife drives, she gets 1 mpg better-she drives a little slower and won't push it to 4500 rpm up mountains like I do. On most work days, I don't see speeds over 45 and average is probably 25. On these days, I get 13. When I was driving 40 miles each way to work, I was getting 17.5-18 if I kept it at 60-65.

I've had my 2006 FX4 supercab for about 2 months now....the best I've gotten (the truck is 100% stock) is about 13-14 city driving. I rarely drive on the expressway...but I'm hoping an intake, exhaust and bed cover will increase mpg's a little.

I added the exhaust on mine and it was good for about 1mpg.....could tell a HUGE diff in power though more than anything....I dont think Bed Cover will do ya much of anything esp city drving...13-14 in town is good I do about 10 in town...haha

If you are lifted, have 4x4, or jumbo tires, an intake, exhaust, and bed cover will do nothing to help your mileage.
