2003 Zipper Pipe Mid pipe design.

A fellow Cobra enthusiast @wesduenkel took to some work on a different kinda of mid pipe for our cars. I love custom stuff so I thought I would share. Video at the end:

Man that's a ton of work to do and hoping it sounds good. I built my exhaust for my street rod and was nervous as hell it would sound like crap when I was done. This zipper pipe has a lot of tig welding.

Nice pipes. Not a fan of the snap crackle pop, but it's not my car.

I am super interested in knowing more about that steering wheel though.

Not sure how I feel about it. I think its one of those things that needs to be heard in person.

I agree with you Bob.

As far as fabrication it's an amazing piece. As far as sound it sounds like an X-pipe with high flow mufflers in my opinion. And I'm not a fan of the X-pipe because it sounds too raspy to me. I like old school muscle car sound, not raspy/European style exhaust sound.

Great work and fabrication for sure though.
