Hey guys. I have a 2003 GT with 4.6L with hydroboost. I need some help finding this bracket. It is the "L" shaped metal support bracket that supports the pressure line that runs from the bottom of the pump to the top of the hydroboost unit. It helps prevent excess movement in this line when the engine "flexes" back and forth during acceleration and deceleration so that the internal o-ring doesn't wear out so fast. When the engine was rebuilt, this bracket was lost an not installed, so within 1000 miles, I had a massive power steering fluid leak. I've replaced the hose/line, but I can't find this bracket anywhere online or even at the salvage yards around here. Does anyone know where to find miscellaneous brackets like this or maybe some one has a couple laying around? Thanks!

Pretty sure you have to buy the entire line. You've got the right idea looking in salvage yards and I'd keep doing looking. I am guessing you're not finding the piece because the engines are being removed quickly from before you get there? I am willing to bet this bracket was used on other models so I would start checking other ford models.

Thanks Blkkbgt for the response. I did find a yard that had a Mustang with the 4.6L with the bracket. I had forgotten about them. Just for anyone else needing this, I did check every other Ford and Lincoln car/truck on the other salvage yards. Not one had the same bracket. Apparently, at a minimum, for the vehicle to have this bracket, it needs to have hydro boost on it. All of the other cars have different routing of the hoses, so they use different brackets. I hope this helps someone else too. Thanks!
