SOLD!

3D6C6343-FE69-4D92-8AE6-7D1EC6ED86BF.jpeg

Hey guys I'm posting up my DSG vert, I picked this car up last spring from another awesome SVTP member. Price is firm SOLD $26,500, the car is located in Wichita KS. If you bring your wheels I'll sell it for SOLD $25,000. Wheels alone are not for sale. No trades. Serious buyers only.

Original sales thread was here:

https://www.svtperformance.com/threads/03-cobra-dsg-vert-w-forged-wheels-10k-miles.1172294/

The car just rolled 13k before I put her away for the winter. She's in amazing shape, zero seat defects or bolster wear, all mods are within the last 3k miles, the car is perfect as is or would be a great base for a SC upgrade. The tunes were done by Kevin Dunn and is 100% flawless, the car has a ton of power (never been on a dyno) for just a pully, intake and bolt on exhaust and has factory like manors. I have a binder with a ton of documentation of the car from it's original sale, window sticker, mods receipts, ceramic coating, etc. After I purchased the car I picked up a Saleen Tonneau cover for it with matching DSG paint.

There are 8 small rock chips on the front end (watch video below), other than that the only other defects on the car are light scuffs on the rear convertible trim where the Saleen tonneau covers locks on, which is unavoidable if you use a tonneau cover. Also see photos below of scuffs.

This is not a fire sale, I'm in no hurry to sell. I will control the price and lower it as time goes on if it doesn't sell. Don't low ball me. If you don't like the price come back later, if it hasn't sold it may or may not be lower when you look again. I will not sell the wheels separately although I will sell the car without the wheels, priced accordingly.

I'm selling this car because I recently added a highly modified turbo MG Saleen to my stables and I also have a TVS SB Cobra. Basically I'm playing with 800-900rwhp cars and this minimally modified Cobra just doesn't hold my interest anymore. Someone else can enjoy this beautiful car for what it is, a beautiful example of a factory car with minimal bolt on mods.

Documentation of the car, many more receipts will be added, just need to print them off. Also, all blacked out areas are done digitally to protect the previous owners, actual documents are not blacked out.

Thanks guys, It’s hard to express how nice of a shape this car is in without seeing it. I sure hope someone can enjoy it. If you want 100% stock I’ve got most the stock parts minus the exhaust and wheels. If you want to enjoy it as is, it’s perfect. Or if you want to build something wild, it is a great base.

It’s easy to change my mind and say I’ll just keep it, especially because my wife enjoys riding in the vert. However, at the end of the day I think someone else will enjoy it more.

Because I've had a few that want to know about the Carfax, here it is. No accidents, nothing reported.

Beautiful car! It should sell quick. Glad to hear it was you that bought Joes car. I am loving the welds on that, I have the front 2 for the TT cobra and will get the rears as the funds allow. Good luck with the sale!

The Qi charger is one of 100 on Amazon, this particular one is called

Bolt Smart Automatic Car Mount Qi Fast Wireless Charger for iPhone X, XS, 8, 8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S9, 9, S8, 8, and Qi-Enabled Devices

the mount is:

Panavise Custom InDash Mount for Ford Mustang '95-04

I cut the ball mount off the Qi mount and used 3M VHB tape to attach it to the panavise mount.

I’m glad I got the Saleen, I wanted your car petty bad, I guess I’ll settle :) I can’t wait to get it delivered, probably won’t see it until April, still a little work left... hard to improve on Joe’s original build but a couple of small tweaks will take it to the next level if that’s possible.

I love the wheels. I have a set of 17x4 and 15x10 on my SB TVS Cobra. The S-71s work so well on these cars.

Hopefully someone will enjoy this car.

Grabbed a few shots of the underside today. I don’t have a lift so these are the best I’ve got. I can get specific photos if you request them.

That's good news. Someone is going to get a really nice '03 vert. Getting harder and harder to find ultra low mileage Terminators. But, they still occasionally pop up for sale.

Thanks Bob, I hope I didn't post "pending" too soon. The buyer hasn't sent the deposit yet, not sure what'll happen here, giving him another day or so to speak with his bank.

ETA: car is still for sale, buyer backed out

I did buy Joe’s Saleen. I don’t have it in my possession yet, the builds not 100% finished yet ;)

And thanks for the compliments on the vert. It’s a beautiful car and when the right person finds it, they’ll really appreciate such a low mileage car.
