I had my stainless Kooks ceramic coated. More to keep them looking good and the extra longevity is a bonus. I had my engine out so I put in a new starter and poly mounts before I put the engine in. The only real issue I see in the future is th top starter bolt, even with no headers and the engine out it was not real easy to get to I can see it being a real bitch in the car. Unless you have had issues with it, I would stay with the OEM you have
Who coated them?

My BBK FLHs came ceramic coated but I’m not a huge fan of their coating.

I just had my Hooker super comp headers jet coated black for my 69 Roadrunner so if I’m happy with them during pick up he will also get my Cobra headers.

Seeing and hearing a lot of guys replacing rear main seal when transmission comes down? Anyone have any luck with accufab or Mmr rear main seal and housing? Prefer one over the other? Seeing those 2 are the best option?

I put the accufab on when my motor was out. Been since August of last year and no issues so far.

I would coat everything you can.

Headers and mid pipe just got completed yesterday I didn’t think to take clamps and bolts. I’m thinking just do clamps and not bolts so they don’t lose any thread lock?
