For the guys with the fore fuel system and went with the fore fuel rails what options did you install for rear or front crossover? Any reasons why to do one over the other?

I did a rear crossover. No way to run a cross over in front cleanly with my set up.

Awesome than you. Was thinking aesthetic purposes rear would be better

Finally got my ARH headers and mid pipe. Thinking of ceramic coating them before instal. Anyone have there’s done? For me it’s more to keep them clean corrosion etc even tho I don’t drive it in rain

I don't have a crossover.

My -10 feed splits into two -8's at the firewall and feeds the rear of each rail. The front of each rail has a 180* -8 that returns to a Weldon regulator on the firewall that has a single -8 back to the tank.

I was going to suggest this in your other post. I really really wish someone had coated my LTs when they were installed. I did stainless headers on my previous Buick and thought “they’ll look this pretty all the time. They’re stainless!” Nope….shoulda coated them.

For the guys who installed headers did you guys keep your starter and motor mounts? Or did you replace them? Keep hearing these starters last a long time currently my 03 only has 14k miles but figured might as well get a new starter and motor mounts? Any thoughts?

I'll be in your position later this year. I plan to keep starter but will change out mounts with something poly and my car only has 28k miles.

Do you like them? Keep hearing there stiffer? You feel vibrations or the road more?
There's a little bit of nvh, nothing terrible though. I also did the stifflers trans mount as well, so I'm sure that contributed a bit

I had my stainless Kooks ceramic coated. More to keep them looking good and the extra longevity is a bonus. I had my engine out so I put in a new starter and poly mounts before I put the engine in. The only real issue I see in the future is th top starter bolt, even with no headers and the engine out it was not real easy to get to I can see it being a real bitch in the car. Unless you have had issues with it, I would stay with the OEM you have

Is that what they look like after the ceramic? I assumed you couldn’t get the stainless steel chrome look with ceramic? I choose to do mine black cause it was black or silver
