Nope, waste of money. Aftermarket is heavier as well
Ok thank you. So I guess I’ll do long tubes. Clutch. E85 cooling mod etc. and I’ll think about tb and inlet. Anything else I need with clutch? 26 spline anything else? Sorry last time I was into mods was 2006 when I had my 04 coupe been out the game for a while untill I got another 03 couple years ago. I’m sure lots of things changed since 06

You may as well do the headers now. You will end up doing them later anyway. It should help drop boost and squeeze a little more power.

I have similar mods as you Op and waiting to do ARH LTs, full Fore return fuel system and E85 possibly.

I don’t think any of the ARH LTs interfere when dropping the transmission. That was part of the reason I went with ARH.

Keep us posted on your upgrades.

You like the clutch? What’s your car used for? How different was it from the stock clutch?
My car is a street car. Couldn't tell you the difference from stock, it had a centerforce when I got it. I like it, smooth engagement and can hold power.

Was thinking of doing the fore fuel rails since mine are still stock with the fore fuel upgrade I did. And change out the whipple inlet for one that supports a single blade throttle body. You guy think it would help with the power and throttle response? Think it would be worth the labor and cost? Trying to get over 700 rear without putting to much pressure on the whipple and motor

Done. Makes it easier. I might just replace my 2600 maf to a 3000. I should of just went with the 2.9 whipple but thought 600 would of been enough for me at the time
Stock rails here, dead-headed on a return setup. 80lbers. E85. 670w. You’ll be fine.

I plan to go to 725wish on this setup (with bigger injectors). I’ll plan on new rails and new post rail regulator setup in the future.

I changed my mind getting a good deal on labor. So I’m going to order the fore rails since I didn’t get them with my fore system last and new 2.3 whipple inlet and move to a single blade acufab throttle body

I'll add that I'm currently running Fore rails. I installed them when the blower went on though. My thought was that the bigger rail will offer more "reserve" since it'll have more fuel in it at a given time. I'm probably completely wrong since there are guys making the same power with stock rails. But at least they look good.

But adding volume won't suddenly increase power or throttle response. Either there's enough fuel to support the amount of power the engine can make or there isn't. And the throttle response is all in the tune.

I want the rails mainly for looks which is kind of dumb reason but we think alike haha I thought they came with it when he ordered my fuel kit last year. For throttle response I meant more for new inlet and bigger throttle body

You should go with a more aggressive pulley setup while you're there

I got the Level 2 I think. I think that was the first kit that included the rails.

I'm all about the bling. The fact that I could get the Whipple polished was one of my deciding factors.

Yes I changed all my pulleys to the Metco Pullies last year besides my crank pulley/ I’m keeping my whipple to a 3.0 upper and getting metcos crank pulley kit and bracket and changing it as well
