Selling a 2000 SVT Contour $5500. Original owner.
Car has been garage kept since purchased in Jan 2000.
Never driven in the winter. All original.
Rarest color Contour, Green with tan interior.
Only 208 Green ones were built in 2000. The color was added in 1999.
Only 710 green ones were ever built. 91K on the odometer.
I hate to sell it but it's not seeing a lot of road time lately and storing it isn't an option.

Boy-oh-boy the SVTC leather seats are much better in resisting wear than the SVTF stock leather/cloth seats. Ford did a better job appointing the SVTC!

Only the guage display and the aluminum pedals are better in the SVTF.

Guesstimate On Price

Earlier in the week a multi-upgraded SVTC was bidded up to $5900. The reserve was not met so no sale. This SVTC had 82K miles on the odometer and a new 3L engine and upgraded tranny to handle the power and many other goodies. So the market said $5900 was the price not the higher price the owner found acceptable.

Yours is stock and in terrific shape. Assuming it has had no meaningful accidents it appears $3250 to $3500 would be more what the market would accept. Now that may be on the high side!

Thanks for the info. The title is clean and has had routine maintenance. Actually, more than routine. I have run synthetic oil from day one and changed it every 3000 – 5000 miles. (I know that’s overkill but I figured in the long run it would be better on the engine)
Any opinions on if it would be worth it to keep it?

If you're looking to get 5K, I'd keep it too. It looks like it is in great shape and you'll probably kick yourself later for selling it. Great cars.

Value for CSVT today

Not sure what the value would be, but the used car market seems a little soft right now. Maybe gas prices are making people rethink 2nd and 3rd cars.

I just sold my Tropic Green '99 for about 10% less than my 3900 asking price locally in CA. It was salvaged title, but damage was minor, vid / photo documentation of damage and repairs. 72k miles with FSVT wheels, all service records, and overall very nice condition.

Hope this info helps.
