Last August a group of Classic Bronco owners decided to meet up in Yuma, AZ on Cinco De Mayo 2018 and take a 2,000 mile offroad trip through Baja Mexico. It started out as 13 Broncos and they wound up with 10 making the trek from all over the US, some from as far as Minnesota and Pennsylvania. An 11th Bronco participated in the Norra 1000 last month and they decided to hang out in Mexico and wait for them

They plan to be off-highway 75% of the trip south and about 30% on the trip back north. They plan to visit as many of the remaining intact Missions and much of the run will be along the Pacific Ocean or the Sea of Cortez.

Not too many hiccups so far, minor drivetrain issues that the entire group stops for

That looks like a great time. I am guessing Baja is pretty safe.
Ya I asked about that and they have never had any issues. You don't dare drive into Mexico with even a shell casing or you could be imprisoned.

A couple of the guys on the trip have participated in the Baja 1000 so they know their way around.

I had my truck out there for the bronco feature in 2016, not in the best of shape (wasn't the worst there either) but I'm glad I had it there for that one event.

Shit, that looks awesome. Is this going to be a annual event?
I think it will be. It filled up so fast and they had several more than wanted in but the hotels only have so much room. Plus they would need more chase trucks, fuel, tires, parts, etc.

Its 100 degrees in most of Arizona and it looks like most of their route is 65-85 degrees. Im seeing a lot of GoPro's on the Broncos and can't wait for the videos when they get back. I imagine there will be a major sponsor stepping up in a year or two and they may live stream the trip. Im checking the GPS tracker several times a day and they are stopped quite often. You can only wonder whats going on or what broke.

They are down to 10 Broncos again. The Bronco below raced and finished the Norra 1000 a few weeks ago and decided to stay in Mexico and wait for them. He headed home after the Horsepower Ranch stop instead of doing the La Paz trip twice in 3 weeks haha
