Another concern is to brace or support the stock wing. This pic is from Max on FB. Now they’re older, some crack above 130mph or so. I reached out to some carbon fiber companies but couldn’t get one made to keep mine safe. I decided to have a drag wing made to use on a V6 trunk when racing 1/2 mile and 1 mile. I’ll street drive and 1/4 mile with the stock wing as I hate to change the stock appearance.

Dude there is so much win in this thread!!! I applaud what your doing. These cars are meant to get driven. This is gunna be one hell of a car when done!!

Docol R8 8.5 cert with extra bars is what we decided to make. 1/2 mile racing has relatively little safety guidelines (dumb) so we are building for worst case scenario 200mph roll over. Most events require a “roll bar”.
