The world seems to be falling apart in front of our eyes. With the current administration making decisions that go from bad to worse; and the country being divided to the extreme of polar opposites. Even with everything going on in the world today, today marks the 20 anniversary of what happened in New York City and the rest of the country. Today is a day of remembrance for those we lost that day. Probably the only positive thing that resulted from that day was, for a time, the country was United. We were Americans, and for a time, we weren’t consumed with our petty differences. Hopefully, not by a similar cause, but a similar unity like what we had is what will help us in today’s world. We need it.
I was seven years old on that day and I remember it like it was yesterday. School in a way stopped, as everyone was focused on what was happening to the World Trade Centers. After the first tower fell our headmaster called all grades and staff to the gym. You could see the fear on the faces of the teachers. Something to this magnitude hasn’t happened since Pearl Harbor. We prayed for those in New York. For a while there wasn’t anything else on the news stations. At that time I was really into WWE wrestling and the next airing, two days after what happened, everyone was chanting USA during Mr. McMahon’s address. We were United.
We were proud of our country and our people. We mourned the loss of those that died that day, but our spirit wasn’t broken. In fact, it may have been stronger than ever. Since WWII. We made a memorial and built another tower where the twins stood. We will never forgive those responsible. We will never forget those we lost. May they Rest In Peace. This is their day.

May all the heros of NYPD, FDNY, Port Authority and the countless others that rushed to Ground Zero to help rest in peace.

I was in freshman year of college at the University of Arizona. I was about to head out the door for my first class when a buddy of mine (NROTC) was hauling ass around the dorm knocking on doors screaming "We've been attacked!!!"

Stunned disbelief when I turned on my tv and saw the second jetliner hit...... I knew our world changed that day. Even now I feel an undescribable and heatbreaking rage thinking about it...

20 years later, a ****ing moron named Joe Biden obviously forgot and doesnt give a shit as the very country we extracted our vengence on for allowing Al Quaeda to grow and train is right back in Taliban hands. Now even MORE fortifed.

I fear my fellow Patriots, another 9/11 is all but guaranteed thanks to this Shitbag in Chief.

The land of commies and socialists!
I think for a lot of us this is our JFK moment. Older generations can remember where they were standing and what they were doing when they found out the president had been shot.

I and everyone I know can remember where they were when they found out we had been attacked or watching the second plane hit the world trade center.

I got woken up to my girlfriends mom screaming we were being hit with missiles. I was confused and ran downstairs. I stood in the living room in front of the TV trying to figure out what was happening while she wigged out.

Then the footage of the second plane hitting the other tower was shown and my heart sunk. I was in complete disbelief as the impact was played over and over.

20 years later this day still bothers me and I have to avoid stories I come across of selfless acts and genuin heroism. The fact that so many cared so little for their own safety and well being is moving to say the least.

I will admit that the 20th anniversary has been a little harder than previous years partially because of our haphazard pullout of Afghanistan.

I just hope that we as a country never have to endure something like the events of this day again.

May the souls of those that gave all for others rest in peace and God have mercy on those forever changed by the events of that day.

The tributes and remembrances on 9/1//2021 were many, and they were all very soul stirring. Such a sad day. But sadly, I found it ironic that the DemocRAT Squad introduced a Resolution on 9/11/21 which condemns racism in the U.S. government and outlining relief for victims of racism 20 years after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. "We must fully condemn all manifestations and expressions of racism, xenophobia, discrimination, scapegoating, and ethnic or religious bigotry while also finally acknowledging the climate of hate that Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Sikh communities have experienced in the two decades since September 11, 2001," the four congresswomen said in a statement.

My fear is that the woke society will stir the pot of anti-Americanism through the eyes of so-called racism while condemning capitalism and American military presence abroad. How far will Americans be pushed over the line of truth to a believe that we were the real cause of what happened on 9/11. Could 9/11 history be ultimately re-written? Far fetched? I'm not so sure as I watch and listen to the bull shit spouted by these liberals and socialist democratics. All the while watching as our very history is re-written and pretty much everything we've held sacred (our pride in our American heritage) being shredded. I surely hope and pray what I fear will NEVER happen.

Stand Proud Patriots!

20 years ago I was watching CNBC when they broke away from their regular programming to show footage of the first plane hit. Minutes later the next plane hit the other tower and they showed it live. I screamed aloud that this was terrorism. I went to work in a daze and learned throughout the day about the Pentagon strike and Flight 93 in Pennsylvania. I stopped at the grocery store on the way home and it was eerily quiet. No one was talking, no one was smiling, no one was making eye contact. Everyone was in a state of shock. It was strange the next few days looking skyward and never seeing a plane.

I can't believe it's been 20 years. My girlfriend and I were walking back from class at ASU when the first plane hit. We walked into the apartment and my roommate and his girlfriend screened at us to see look at the TV. A few minutes later the second plane hit. We watched in horror as the buildings fell. Sometime that morning my mom called, told me to fill my car up with gas, and gave me a list of emergency contacts as well as a rendezvous point out of town should we need to get out of the city. We spoke briefly about what to do if things went south and she got off the phone to call my brother. I never realized how much of a bad ass my mom was up to that point.

We then headed back to campus and didn't much of the afternoon in the common area googled around the TV with shit 1,000 other students trying to get information. Back then cell phones and the internet weren't common and only a select few had TV's so the student rec center filled up pretty quickly.

I watched the coverage of the anniversary and it's sad that we can't come together over this like we all did 20 years ago.
