My car is 100% stock suspension and IRS (plus brace), but I have a 28x10x17 hoosier drag slick in the rear with front runners. Launching at 3500, the car dives down a bit and I can't seem to do better than 1.53. It does spin a little, but it seems to be wheel speed in a good way. What is everyone else launching at? I'd like to get a better starting point for the next trip to the track and was thinking 4200 or higher.

You need more sidewall i'd guess. That seems pretty good for the setup you have with 17's. If the nose is diving you need more rpm.

I have my 2step at 4400, seems to work well so far but I just moved it up from 4k and have only made a couple hits at 4400. I'm also on a 15" slick so it might work better.
