I installed my 2.9 kit about two months ago. Had it tuned by a reputable local tuner a week later. It ran good except for a slight miss when you first hit the gas. My tuner datalogged once with me driving and got back on the dyno. The tune is worse now, He told me to swap out the Bosch 58# injectors that came with the kit as there was not a lot of support for them. I installed ID 1050x injectors and waiting on another tune. I think my tuner is going through some personal issues, so he's just trying to buy time or he truly can't get her running right. I'm not sure I'm believing the injector deal but the ID's are great injectors for future power levels. He also told me the MAF placement in the Whipple CAI is acting weird. My ultimate question is, I'm going to stop using him and probably go with the Lund remote tuning through Beefcake Racing. Lund gets great reviews online but does anyone have personal experience with their tunes?
