I made 731rwhp / 756rwtq on about 22psi with 19* of timing. My tune is set for 24-25psi but I was getting belt slip up top (made 726/792 going to 5200rpm on a partial pull before the belt got glazed over)

Kurgan had estimated around 770-780rwhp and a little over 800rwtq once the slip issue was fixed and I was making 24-25psi

For what its worth here is a rundown on my setup:

8.5:1 Aluminator with ARP hardware
2.9 Whipple (non-crusher)
Return fuel system (E85)
Accufab TB
JLT ram air intake
Kooks long tubes
Kooks O/R X-pipe
Magnaflow catback
4lb lower pulley, 3.25 upper for now (22psi)

640/538 on a 3.5 pulley/stock lower @ 19# of boost on pump gas. Going back up for a retune since I was running a single SVT Focus pump and was leaning out under power. Since I've upgraded to a Fore Full Return system :D Will post numbers when i get it retuned.

Ok didn't pay attention to that but those are still good numbers, any problems hooking at low speeds lol.

You can't stab the throttle in 1st, 2nd and the start of 3rd gear unless you want a smoke show. lol
Even with 315 NTo5R drag radials it can get a little squirrely. It's more of feathering the pedal as you feel for traction, but 3rd and 4th gear pulls are ridiculous.

Other than your TQ being a little low I think you're pretty much at your max for HP on pump gas. Safely that is. Why don't you go e85? Is the Fore system compatible with e85? You would need bigger injectors too.

2.9 whipple
20 psi 3.25 upper/stock lower
manifolds, catted x.. e85
696 rwhp/596 rwtq

Not sure how, but i will spin first and that's it. Car has 555r tires on it, and it hooks 2nd and up. I started out with the 05r's and same thing. I seem to be the only one that doesn't blow the tires in second gear that's around 700 at the tire.

It's the way the 2.9 rolls the power on. At 500 whp my Eaton car couldn't hook for shit. 2nd gear rolls where hit and miss, usually 3rd on to hook. The instant torque of the Eaton just lights up the tires.
Once I got the 2.9 setup my initial reaction was disappointment because the power rolled on smoothly and ramped up rather than instant neck snapping torque. Then suddenly I realized I can hook and love it. 20 roll in 1st I can usually hook and go depending on the road. 2nd gear roll dead hooks and is gone like a rocket.

Yes, I was dissapointed at first as well. You expect it to never hook up, but it does and now that I have learned the car pretty good, it is a rocket. Hooking up is a good thing.
