2.9 whipple 10 rib pulley upgrade question

I am having a problem with the alternator pulley hitting the alternator is it supposed to have a washer?

Do you guys have the large bracket on yet? If so slip a washer on and use a straight edge to see if it still lines up. I don't mind sending out the alternator that I used if need be but I think they are the same.
