Hi guys, I need some feed back, I’m running a 2.76 supercharger pulley and will be installing a 2lb on a non-ported Eaton what other supporting mods are recommend or should I just stick with a 2.76 and stock caged lower pulley.

Will I be able to get away with a just 2.76/2lb combo without a port or mods?

You're on the edge with the edition of a 2 lb. lower addition to your 2.76 upper. I can be done, but you're going to be in the inefficiency circle. If it were my Cobra, I'd just stick with the 2.76. If you DO decide to proceed, work with your tuner to determine what fuel system mods you'll need to upgrade.

What Bob said. Stick with the upper only. It'll still pick up some power and you won't be killing it with hot IAT's.

Bob nailed it. stick with the upper only. Let's say you port the blower, sure throw the 2lb if you want. The best is when I browse this forum and as soon as somebody ports there eaton, they think it's ok to run a 2.76 upper 6lb lower. or a 2.76 upper 25lb lower. But but its ported!! SMH.

That's what we're here for. Well, sometimes, anyway. LOL. Keep us posted on what you end up doing.

Just curious, what are your other mods?

I would agree with the advice above. Four of the top 6 fastest non-ported Eaton setups were running upper pulley only. Allen was going after records and he achieved them! One of which was lightest street driven Terminator in the country! lol Not sure what Speed Demon's setup was.

THE EATON SUPERCHARGER TERMINATOR 10 SECOND CLUB

THE UNPORTED CREW:
1) Almo........................10.69 @ 128.59 w/ 1.54 (6spd/SRA) (2.90/6 lb)
2) 04yellowcobra............10.76 @ 127.80 w/ 1.466 (6spd/SRA) (2.80 Upper pulley only)
3) CobraStruck...............10.815 @ 126.84 w/ 1.55 (6spd/SRA) (2.76 upper pulley only)
4) Speed Demon............10.81 @ 127.12 w/ 1.44 (6spd/SRA)
5) VENOMOUS96............10.841 @ 123.89 w/ 1.504 (Auto/SRA) (2.76 upper pulley only)
6) Almo........................10.84 @ 129.38 w/ 1.69 (6spd/SRA) (2.76 upper pulley only)

Absolutely wholeheartedly agree with what Bob shared above.

Little late to this thread but in the event someone else strolls over this thread, I wanted to reenforce what Bob stated... upper only would be the ticket for me if I had to do things over... no lower. I believe if I had kept going, upper only and not port would have crushed the 10.69. Why, because of less heat (IATs) that I was constantly combating.

Cheers all.
