2.75 vs 3?

I just pulled the trigger on a great deal on Borla headers and ATAK cat back. I know the Borla is only 2.75 in diameter. I was wondering what the power deference would be between the 2.75 and a full 3 exhaust. I mean am I hurting my self power wise going with the 2.75 over the 3? I'm sure the 3 would add up to a few more ponies but will it be a drastic diffrence? Thanks in advance guys!

3" should have a deeper tone than 2.75", but may not be required until power levels exceed a certain threshold. IIRC, in the GT500 world, it didn't make a difference until the car reached the 700+ rwhp area.

ok great sounds good. I don't have the much HP in the plan right now just bolt ons and spray for now
