I checked an it is too tight under my car. I could maybe get a 4" round resonator on but nothing wider..plus I can only go 15.5 inches since my Lethal Performance OTA pipes have bends and I would need to leave them in. I did some measurements.. Lethal Performance OTA pipe - 2.75" OD all the way to the mufflers..two piece with a slip on connector at the axles. 2012 Mufflers - inlet is 2.75 OD but they have a narrow spot before the inlet and it drops down to 2.5" OD. Oulet is 3" OD that opens to the 4" OD tip. 2010 Mufflers - slip on - not the ball and cup - they are 2.5" OD inlet continuous and 2.5" OD outlet opening to the 4" OD tips. After a lot of thought I am going to do this first to see what the results are. (I am starting to think the Lethal OTA 2.75 pipes may be contributing a lot to the increase in noise and throaty sound - more so maybe than the X to H pipe swap.) I am going to cut my old factory OTA pipes down a little and use a SS connector adapter / converter with my existing band clamps and put the 2010 mufflers back on. No welding and it is about $30 total for the adapters. Once I see what that is like I'll determine my next move. I'm thinking maybe I should have ordered the factory OTA pipes instead of the Lethal Performance SS pipes. Cost was about the same. I'm holding off on the resonators for now since it will require cutting and probably welding for me.
