I just got a 08 gt500 with a 2.6 pulley and c&l intake without a heat shield and it came with a predator tuner. Everything else is stock. I just installed bmr LCA to help with the wheel hop. I'm looking for low to mid 11sec. I was told to just change the rear springs to roush springs and was thinking of getting a set of black sve wheels with nitto 555r tires. What else would I need

Going to need a lot more than what you stated to get in the 11's...

Congrats on your new 08'. Awesome cars. Pulley, CAI, and tune will certainly wake it up a bit. Going to a 2.50" upper and getting a tune from one of the reputable vendors on SVTP could get you another 20 RWHP, but not a great bang for your buck. The 3.31 gears are great for gas mileage, but switching our to 3.73's was probably the best mod I've made. Made the car sooooo much more fun to drive, but not sure their exact impact on 1/4 mile times.

Generally, springs aren't considered a necessary suspension modification to achieve the results you're looking for, Tires are arguably the most important ingredient in this realm. Lower control arms can be a help if you have wheel hop issues. But upper control arms can oftentimes have a bigger impact with hop issues. I run the Roush UCA. No extra NVH and good install.

Can certainly get into the 11's with these mods and with your Saleen experience, you're no stranger to drag racing. Just have to get used to the nuances of racing a GT500.

Ya the lca helped alot with wheel hop. I just wanted to change the rear springs because it's sits so high up in the rear. I'm close to just ordered black sve wheels . I have to wait until spring to race it now. I might swap the intake to a jlt and get a tune for brenspeed. I'm sure the one on it is just a tune from predator

DR’s with a tune and driver mod should get you on the door step.

Your leaving time on the clock going with 555r’s IMO.
