2.3L Whipple OIL questions!!

MY whipple looks to be low on oil but im not too sure if that's within the

normal range. Do I need to add a little more?

Can I use GM part number 12345982? What do I fill it up to like half way up the window? Do I have too suck all the old oil out or can I just add new on top?

You would have to suck it out. And yes fill half way. The GM oil works as well.

There is a drain plug on the bottom of the whipple but that might get messy on the car. I'm currently running GM oil in mine as my small town is dominated by GM dealerships.

I assume that picture was taken with the blower not running correct? Mine reads full when its off but when its running you almost don't see anything in the sight glass but that's because its being flung all over the blower case.

One more question the oil is changed through that alan key hole above the oil sight window right?

The fill plug is on top of the blower if I remember correctly. I filled it last year when I put it on and haven't touched it since.

Here is a pic of mine. you can see the fill plug on the top left side of the blower on the flat machined surface.
