My cobras making 11psi with a gen 2 whipple and 3.25 upper only. Its making 549up and 509Tq. Its been running decent but from I've read. I probably have the lowest psi for that size pulley compared to anybody else. Haven't found any boost leaks or anything. Opinions?

Yes. The 3.25 should be giving you 14/15 in good air. 3.0 was giving me 17. And my 2.8 was giving 19 at the beach.

And these numbers were with the Gen 1 Whipple 2.3

Can you post a dyno sheet? Was your boost steady all the way to redline? I am on a very early whipple 2.3 with a 3.0 pulley and made 15.4psi which i think is right for the earlier Lysholm rotor unit. I know on my sheet you can see the boost is like a flat line 15.4 from like 2,800 all the way to 6,500.

how are you measuring the boost? are you sure thats 100% functioning?

But considering how opened up your exhaust is, it's definitely time to go with the 3.00" upper. Soon to be followed by an E85 tune with a 2.6" upper! You'll get some boost then! lol

Something is not right somewhere.

the 2.3 came standard with a 3.5" pulley. the gen 1 made 13# and the gen 2 made 15#. Long tubes won't drop it much. At most 2# and typically I only see about 1#. Plus you are running a 3.00 pulley, so you should be closer to 15#.

how is boost being measured?

If my intake manifold gaskets were leaking would it still idle and run fine? Or should I pull the blower and check?
