1) Give yourself $XX (or $XXX) per day for normal spending (food, shopping, etc) and a separate $XX (or $XXX) per day for gambling, and stick to it. That way you won't get halfway through the trip and run out of money for having fun. 2) The more money you bring to Vegas, the more fun you can have, so if you're really looking to have a good time, bring as much as you can realistically allow yourself to spend/lose. It's such a good time there that you definitely won't ever regret having spent some dough when the trip is over. 3) GO TO RED ROCK CANYON! It's literally 25-30 minutes from your hotel and costs like $5 per car to get in. Nice long 13-mile (or so) road with some AMAZING scenery and shit to climb on. And it's so close to the Strip that you wouldn't believe it. I tell everyone I know that if there's one thing to do off the Strip, it's Red Rock Canyon. Red Rock Casino is also really nice, and on the way there (or back). Worth stopping in to check out.
