1st gear started grinding randomly

hey guys i recently replaced my clutch cable and noticed it started grinding in 1st gear when coming to a stop..never did it before, i adjust my clutch cable at my quadrant both ways already and no improvement the release point in my clutch pedal is practically at the top hence it should be enough pressure on that pressure plate when i have the pedal to the floor, mind you all other gears are fine, im thinking some how 1st gear sychro is going..
