1999 svt contour dyno how much rpm can this motor handle?

We took my brothers car (SVT_Monstour) to the dyno over the weekend. Stock svt contour motor. We ran it all the way up to the stock rev limiter and it was still pulling. I was wanting to know how far we could push it? It was going lean after 6500 due to the fuel pump but we will get a bigger one and dyno again but we want to know how far to take it. We pulled it to 7050 rpm this time. I will try to post the dyno sheet if I can figure out how.

The stock tune is rich on the top end. So unless the stock pump is failing there might be another issue. Yes the power keeps going but no need to rev that high. IIRC 7500 is safe on a stock engine. Search around CEG for more info.

If the power keeps climbing, then there is a need to rev it that high.;-)
