Cool cars . I've got 2 stock low mileage WS6s , 01 and 02 CETA. Both 6-speed , black interior, T-tops , 4K miles , both of them have original tires too LOL

I just ordered a 22 GT500 and all my buddies are asking if I’m going to keep the hawk and terminator. Honestly I don’t think I can part with either.

Don’t. You will regret it. I have never owned a TA but I regret not holding onto my 04 Cobra when i sold that and my 01 Cobra eventually for a 14 GT500. I wish i would of held onto the 04 and swung the 14. I could of at the time. Hindsight is always 20/20 though. Only thing that makes me feel better is the 04 was a vert. I will definitely get another 03/04 but a coupe this time to sit next to my 14 GT500.

Brings back memories of when the Firehawks, SS's and 03 Cobras ruled the streets. When I got my 03 Cobra there were a few all black TA's and an SS with drag radials that I would see around my area and I was able to line up with one of the TA's at one point after I was ported, pullied, and on BFG DRs and it was a helluva race. Ended up inching him out but any other time it could have gone the other way it was so close. I remember after that race driving home another 2mi or so and I pulled up and my parents were outside and they asked me if I was racing because they could hear both of our cars that far away, which I did have SLP Loudmouths at that time lol. Always wanted a black TA Firehawk as an early teen but then Ford dropped the Terminator and that was the end of that.

The early/mid 2000 were an amazing time and the kick off to the the muscle car wars 2.0. Everyone around me had either an LS1 or a Cobra. I made a ton of friends and many memories.

I like the vert no issue with them it’s not like I’ll be drag racing or track racing it every weekend if it was a coupe or vert. Love it with top down snd fake light bar

I went through my LS phase. I wouldn't mind picking up a WS6 6-spd with t-tops.

The '98 Z was a stalled auto, the '02 TA a 6-spd, mostly stock. I traded it for my '12 GT. Actually I miss the GT more than either of them. Damn I'm way off topic. Sorry Sid. I think a 5 hour ban will do, I need to get back to work anyway

not at my post...
My first encounter with an LS1 is etched in my memory :). My 90 Fox didn't stand a chance. This was back in early 98. Made for a long 5 years before the Terminator showed up.

I had a similar experience in my 94 gt, ported GT40 heads, F303 cam, GT40 intake, full exhaust, 3.73 etc.... Bolt on El Es Juan WS6 caught me by the 2-3 shift and just kept going...

My ZL1 is a vert. I do love them, i just love 03/04’s in a coupe.

Very cool. A WS6, 6 Speed is definitely on my short list. My short list is getting longer by the day it seems.

I never realized they had fixed headlights.
They didnt. These were pre-production prototypes that SLP bailed on in production. I beleive only 3 or 4 of them were made with those ugly lights. I remmeber a set on ebay going for like $25k. All production 98-02 firebirds/trans ams come with flip up headlights

They are some ugly ass headlights. I never seen a firehawk in person with those.

one of my biggest mistakes in life was buying a 2v turd (2000 gt) and sinking money into it .... should have went with an LS Juan... LS cars are just ****ing incredible for what they are.... especially back in the day.

16k miles. It was a 6 spd car but, just finished the th400 auto swap, just waiting on the new driveshaft to get here. I do want to buy another one with around 40k miles to just drive around. This is my 4th Camaro SS. I’m keeping this one and hope my daughter will race it when she gets old enough to drive. Will build another one for my son.

Man, that is one of the nicest SS's I've even seen. What year is that? I don't blame you for not wanting to let it go. I love the interior & Weld wheel setup, and that TH400 conversion.

Here are a couple of pics of my old "lowly" '94. LOL.

These things were spanking the 98 cobra stock for stock. Pretty impressive the power GM was putting out back then and still meeting the emissions and mpg standards. Took some 410+ gears on the 98 cobra to hang with these.

Thanks for the kind words Bob! It’s an 02. Looks like you had a very nice Camaro also. Very fun cars the older they’re getting.

I always wanted an LS car, I was out of college when they were going away. The Hendrick dealer in the area was scooping up all the 6spd cars and had them in the back lot. I found a pewter Z28 with roll up windows and hard top, everything I was looking for but I didn’t have the $$ so I had to stick with my LT1 car. The WS6 was insane looking at the time and this commercial made me want one bad!
