As usual, the Mitty provided a lot of business for the roll-back wreckers. The weather all weekend was perfect so they sold a lot of tickets. I saw a video with two Corvettes racing on Saturday into 10-A. One got over the curb and took out another one, flipped, and then landed in the sand trap. They couldn't pull it out as it was stuck in the sand. The track workers finally got the pulley thing out and pulled it up and out. Ray Evernham had his Corvette (it's fast) and his co-driver was Boris Said. Ray also had a 1932 Ford race car. I went to a local "invitation only" car show on Sunday morning and held in Sandy Springs. I had applied with my 1995 Cobra R but got declined. There was a 2019 Ford GT and three 2006 Ford GT's with no other Ford cars. Well, it did have two Cobra replica's which I guess are ~Ford cars--the engines came from a Ford factory in Canada. ;)
